About Us:

 

The Missions team oversees the work in various SJSM primary and secondary stations such as Thailand, Timor Leste and the Philippines. We provide member-care and pastoral oversight for our Cross-Cultural Workers, Missions Trainees and Missions Associates. We also offer various mission training programmes for youth and adults.

A) OVERSEAS ATTACHMENT (OA)

OA is a 3-6 month programme to our missions stations to help with the local ministry as well as for longer term missions exposure.

 

B) TRIBUTE PROGRAMME (1 YEAR FULL TIME)

Tribute is a 1-yr full time programme aimed to provide an opportunity for members to test and/or confirm God’s calling for longer-term missionary service, while serving cross-culturally at one of the SJSM’s primary mission stations or in one of the Deaneries of DOS (Diocese of Singapore).

 

C) MISSIONARY APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAMME (MAP)

MAP is a 2.5 - 3 year training programme for members to firm up God’s calling for longer-term missionary service. Opportunities will be provided for them to serve God cross-culturally and in so doing, prepare themselves for future ministry in similar areas.

 

Prerequisites

• Baptised and confirmed member of SJSM
• An active cell member and involved in ministry
• 18 years old and above (except for MAP, who have to be 21 years old and above)
