Purpose and Vision Statement of SJSM Village Chaplaincy

SJSM Village Chaplaincy provides the spiritual care, primarily to people in our Nursing Home, Senior Care Centre and the Childcare Centre. This is done holistically through meeting a person’s emotional, geriatric, palliative, pain and grief care.

This holistic care is provided through trained chaplains who are clinically informed, theologically grounded, and culturally sensitive, demonstrating the compassion of Jesus Christ, and sharing God’s hope through the One who “heals the broken hearted and binds up their wounds” (Psalm 147:3)

Boys' and Girls' Brigade

SJSM is the sponsoring church of the Boys' and Girls' Brigade Companies of Fuhua Primary School (14th Coy Girls’ Brigade and 24J Boys’ Brigade), and provides chaplaincy in support of the operation of these companies in the schools. Our volunteers and staff take on roles as company Chaplain, Captain and Officers to help students to develop and grow in character and leadership.
