
Ministry Overview:
This ministry cares for the sick, elderly, and homebound / hospital-bound members of our congregation through regular visits that offer prayer, encouragement, and the ministry of presence including the administration of
Holy Communion.
Purpose/Objective:
To embody Christ’s compassion by ensuring no member walks alone in times of illness or confinement, providing prayer and holistic pastoral support to those who are home bound or hospitalised. To bring church to the shut-ins.
MINISTRY OPPORTUNITIES
Who Can Serve? Mature Christians with a heart to listen, pray, and encourage. Training provided.
PASTORAL VISITATION TEAM MEMBER
Activity: Visit homes or hospitals to pray and share encouragement.
Commitment: Flexible, based on a monthly roster. At least two days a week and a minimum period of 6 months
PHONE MINISTRY
Activity: Call isolated members to check in and offer spiritual encouragement.
Commitment: Flexible, remote. At least two days a week and a minimum period of 6 months
