Ministry Overview:
The Facilities Team oversees the upkeep and maintenance of our physical infrastructure — including buildings, equipment, and grounds. We ensure the church environment remains clean, safe, and fully functional to support the various activities and operations of the congregation.
Purpose/Objective:
To maintain the longevity of church assets, create a secure and welcoming space for worshippers and visitors, minimise disruptions to church activities, and encourage responsible stewardship of our resources.
MINISTRY OPPORTUNITIES
EMERGENCY RESPONSE TEAM MEMBER
Activity: Persons who are trained in first aid, fire safety, and emergency incident
management to be part of a team that is activated in managing safety concerns of security risks and incidents during services and church events.
Commitment: Ad hoc for events or at time of emergency if on-site
SECURITY OFFICER
Activity: To provide or oversee additional security in large-scale events and services.
Commitment: Ad hoc
CAR PARKING WARDEN
Activity: Help manage the carpark flow during larger events
Commitment: Ad hoc
DECORATION/PROPS HELP
Activity: To be part of the team to put up decorations or create props during special
occasions such as Christmas, Easter, Chinese New Year, etc.
Commitment: As hoc
LOGISTICS ASSISTANCE
Activity: To assist in venue set-up and tear-down in large-scale events.
Commitment: Ad hoc
CLEANLINESS AMBASSADOR
Activity: To help maintain a clean and welcoming environment during major events
