If we do not hear His voice\, our life will not be what God has promised it to be. We will inevitably be resorting to other voices for counsel. More so in these uncertain times when disruptive changes and daunting challenges abound on many fronts. The Shepherd’s guidance is needed to help us negotiate through these uncharted waters. If we want to hear\, then we must learn to listen. One who hears God is operating from the very foundation and framework of all reality\, not from the fringe (Dallas Willard). \nSo set aside 3 days to draw near to Him\, to deepen our understanding and gain fresh insight in learning to listen to Him\, both individually and corporately. \nRetreat components: \nTeaching: \n\nHearing God;\nOur true identity in Christ;\nDisciplines of Solitude\, Silence & Stillness;\nHearing God thru Scriptures\, Listening Prayer\, The Way forward.\n\nPractice Sessions: \n\nParticipants will be given the opportunity to practise hearing God individually and in group settings under guidance.\n\nMinistry: \n\nPersonal prayer ministry for participants is included.

DESCRIPTION:Dates: 15 – 22 November\nJunior Church is collaborating with HealthTouch (a medical outreach arm) to the people in Timor Leste. Jr Church will be supporting the team by conducting children programme with fun activities\, songs and sharing of God’s Word. We invite families with children aged 7-10 to join us.\n\nCarefully read through these important logistics before submitting your registration:\n\n\nThe overseas mission trip to Timor-Leste is from 15th – 22nd Nov 2026.\nThe total cost per person is approximately $1\,800 (including airfare and accommodation).\nAll children going must be accompanied by at least an adult family member.\nYour registration has to be signed by the parents or guardian of children going\, including non-family children eg cousins.\nRegistering for this trip does not guarantee you a place as there is a limited number of people for the total group size. You will receive a confirmation email if you have a place and subsequently be invited to a meeting to complete a formal form and receive more information on the itinerary\, the total cost and assigned work for the trip.\nAll participants passport must have at least a 6 month validity from the date of travel; your travel insurance is your responsibility.\nThe closing registration date is 15th June 2026\n\n\nPlease email juniorchurch@sjsm.org.sg should you have any queries or like to have more information.  We would love to help.\n\nIf you are ready to register\, click here!
