Unlike Know the Word\, which offers an in-depth study of individual books in the Bible\, Know What You Believe takes a whole Bible approach to understanding a given topic. Both approaches are essential for developing a comprehensive understanding of Scripture. \n\nSeries 1: Knowing God\nThe first Know What You Believe series focusses on knowing God\, exploring topics like God’s character\, the Trinity and His providence. We will address questions like: \n\nHow do we know that God exists? Can we really know God?\nHow can God be three persons\, yet one God?\nWhy\, how\, and when did God create the universe?\nIf God controls all things\, how can our actions have meaning?\n\nThe series will not only focus on developing our knowledge about God\, we will also explore how these beliefs are to shape how we live our lives. \n\nClass format\nApart from the lecture\, there will be interactive components which will include a panel of instructors for a Q&A section.

DESCRIPTION:18 – 20 September  \nRegister here by 1 May\nSynopsis: A retreat to grow your desire to learn to hear God’s voice and to cultivate an intimate and loving relationship with Him. \nHearing God is foundational to cultivating an intimate\, loving relationship with Him through Jesus that will impact our lives immensely. If we do not hear His voice\, our life will not be what God has promised it to be. We will inevitably be resorting to other voices for counsel. More so in these uncertain times when disruptive changes and daunting challenges abound on many fronts. The Shepherd’s guidance is needed to help us negotiate through these uncharted waters. If we want to hear\, then we must learn to listen. One who hears God is operating from the very foundation and framework of all reality\, not from the fringe (Dallas Willard). \nSo set aside 3 days to draw near to Him\, to deepen our understanding and gain fresh insight in learning to listen to Him\, both individually and corporately. \nRetreat components: \nTeaching: \n\nHearing God;\nOur true identity in Christ;\nDisciplines of Solitude\, Silence & Stillness;\nHearing God thru Scriptures\, Listening Prayer\, The Way forward.\n\nPractice Sessions: \n\nParticipants will be given the opportunity to practise hearing God individually and in group settings under guidance.\n\nMinistry: \n\nPersonal prayer ministry for participants is included.
