Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent. Amidst the Lunar New Year celebrations, we will take time to remember our finiteness in this special service.
Ash Wednesday also marks the start of the period of Lent.
Lent is a season in the church calendar where we journey in remembering Jesus’ 40 days in the desert. During this time, we move away from the excesses in our regular life. Many offer a fast of sorts, simplifying our lives to make more room for Christ during this season.
Lent ends when we celebrate Jesus’ victory over sin and death at Easter!
