Ministry Overview:
The Hospitality Team provides a warm and welcoming experience for all who come to SJSM, especially at the weekend worship services and at key events.
Purpose/Objective:
To create a sense of belonging and welcome that reflects the love of Christ.
MINISTRY OPPORTUNITIES
WORSHIP SERVICE HOST
Activity: Greet and assist attendees during services, help with seating, and provide directions. Support the services by managing the Holy Communion flow,
offertory, attendance taking and other duties requested by service leaders.
Commitment: Rostered once a month. Weekend services.
CONNECT HOST
Activity: Engage newcomers, introduce ministries, and invite further connection.
Commitment: Rostered once a month. Weekend services.
REFRESHMENT HOST
Activity: Organise and provide refreshments between E1 and E2 services.
Commitment: Rostered monthly; Sunday mornings
REFRESHMENT CONTRIBUTOR
Activity: Provide the food items for Sunday refreshment and fellowship time after E1 as well as serve if you wish to
Commitment: Ad hoc. Just sign up for any weekend
TEA TERRACE HOST
Activity: Provide hospitality through refreshments and by connecting with next-of-kin
(NOK) of the nursing home residents during visitation hours.
Commitment: Weekly, Tuesday and/or Thursday 11am-2pm; Saturday 4.30pm–6.30pm
