ALPHA

Ministry Overview:
The Alpha Course is a great way for seekers and believers alike to discover or review the foundations of the Christian faith. Through eleven sessions of videos, conversations, and meals, Alpha is a space where a pursuit of life, faith and meaning is explored together in a safe, friendly and open environment.

Purpose/Objective:
To provide:
* a safe and welcoming platform for seekers and new believers to encounter and know Jesus through hospitality and meaningful discussions about faith.
* a supported and structured platform where SJSMers can engage in evangelism as a team or Cell Group.

MINISTRY OPPORTUNITIES

ALPHA CORE TEAM
Activity:
Plan, coordinate, and execute the Alpha programme, including logistics, publicity, mobilization, and training.
Commitment: To organize and support the main run/s of Alpha, especially the three centralized events
(approx. 5-6 months depending on the role)

ALPHA GROUP HOST/FACILITATOR and HELPER
Activity:
Lead or support and organize Alpha Group Sessions
Commitment: Weekly during Alpha Course and Course Follow-up (approx. 5 months) + training

EVENT SUPPORT ROLES
Activity:
Includes Emcees, song-leaders, musicians, AV crew, hospitality, photographers, registration, logistics.
Commitment: Ad hoc, based on event schedule (Welcome event, Alpha Day, Celebration event)
