Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Implement and enforce compliance with finance policies and procedures.
  • Oversee counting team operations when handling and accounting for cash and cheques received during services.
  • Generate and maintain routine accounts documentation and records as per industry best practices.
  • Generate and maintain up-to-date and accurate records in accounting system.
  • Perform banking functions to ensure cash and cheques are deposited in a timely manner.
  • Implement and maintain a fixed asset management system.
  • Prepare and maintain accounting schedules related to the accounts of the church.
  • Generate and ensure prompt payment to vendors and the Diocese of Singapore, and process staff claims.
  • Prepare monthly management reports as directed by supervisor.
  • Prepare accounts, financial-related reports and schedules to support annual audits.
  • Undertake accounts analysis and reporting as directed by the supervisor.
  • Assist the supervisor in the budgeting process and any other accounting-related functions.



Our Requirements:

  • At least a Diploma in Accounting or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of experience as an accounts executive in a company.
  • Knowledge of accounting software would be an advantage.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Word, Powerpoint and Excel.
  • Good communications and inter-personal skills.

Operations Division


The successful candidate will manage overall IT systems, data center operations, contracts, online applications, networking infrastructure and office automation services.


Roles & responsibilities:

  • Manage IT related service contracts related to upkeep of the data centre operations and oversee work done by contractors.
  • Development and management of church data management system and other online information system.
  • Manage overall IT system and infrastructure to ensure availability of networking, remote access, network storage and backup system including
    • Maintain/upgrade Network Infrastructure – Wired/Wireless
    • Maintain/upgrade Microsoft AD Servers, Exchange Servers (Email & Distribution list), Web Hosting and Fileserver.
  • Ensure adequate IT security measures are in place to prevent virus, data loss, spyware, ransomware and other known IT threats.
  • Support staffing IT needs including
    • setting up of computers/laptop
    • software installation and upgrades
    • email and network connectivity
    • helpdesk services
    • related IT user training
  • Ensure the serviceability of network printers, and management of vendor and printing accounts.
  • Develop/review and maintain IT policies, procedures and other related documentation.


Our Requirements:

  • Possesses at least a Diploma in IT or computer studies
  • At least 3 years working as an IT project engineer or similar capacity
  • Experience in developing web-based applications and mobile apps will be an advantage

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Case management of the organization's clients/cases (including visitation, counseling, advising, financial help ...etc)
  • Work in a team to organize community programmes that reach out to our Dover community in the 6 domains (Child nurture, Youth connect, Family bonding, Elder care, Healthy lifestyle, Helping hand).
  • Programme staff at Heartfriends BASC
  • Engage with the families in Dover and identify the hidden needy
  • Coordinate with other Heartfriends Community workers and volunteers to provide the necessary care-giving and financial assistance for to needy families.
  • Network and work along with existing SJSM ministries like Adult Cells, Heatbeat Youth, Chinese Youth, Chinese Congregation ministries and Community Services and Dover division to act as a point of connection for community contacts as well as to encourage and support their community outreach and service efforts.
  • Help to organize related Heartfriends events and community projects or activities.


Our Requirements:

  • 2 years of working experience as a social worker preferred
  • Diploma in Social Work or Counselling
  • Analytical and critical thinking ability
  • Excellent time and systems management, and organization skills
  • Competency in Windows or/and Apple platform; and MS Office
