UPDATES ABOUT COVID-19 CASES

This page presents up to date information on cases subsequently tested positive for COVID-19 after coming to SJSM Village.

 

  • If you are tested positive for COVID-19 or receive any notification from MOH to be tested or quarantined, do keep the church notified via your cell/ministry leader so we can uphold you in prayer.

The church continues to be open and regular onsite services will continue as scheduled.

 

We would like to take this opportunity to remind members to stay home if you are not feeling well on the day of service, and to observe the necessary safe measures such as distancing, zoning, minimizing intermingling, wearing of masks and regular sanitizing/washing of hands while in church.

SES - Saturday, 20 November 2021

A member who attended Saturday Evening Service on 20 November at the Green Zone was tested positive for COVID through a PCR test.  Regular cleaning protocol has been followed to ensure surfaces and common areas are kept safe for use by staff and visitors.  The zone pastor has been informed to provide pastoral support.

 

There is no impact to church operations or weekend services.

SJSM Nursing Home

E1 Service - Sunday, 7 November 2021

 

The Ministry of Health has identified SJSM Nursing Home as a COVID cluster with new cases of residents who have tested positive. These have all been transferred out of the NH to external hospitals or Community Facilities for recovery. Pastoral care is ongoing for the ward teams. Standard cleaning protocols are being followed and the situation is under control.

 

A member who attended E1 service on 7 November at the Green Zone was tested positive for COVID through a PCR test. The zone pastor is staying in touch with the case to provide pastoral care and support.

 

Regular cleaning protocol has been followed to ensure surfaces and common areas are kept safe for use by staff and visitors.

 

There is no impact to church operations or weekend services.

SJSM Nursing Home

 

A few residents of our Nursing Home tested positive this week & all have been sent to community care facilities or hospital for appropriate clinical care. There is no impact on church operations and weekend services.

E2 Service - Sunday, 3 October 2021

 

A member who attended the E2 service on 3 Oct 2021 was tested positive for COVID on Tues, 5 Oct 2021. The case was seated in the blue zone in Christ Sanctuary.

 

As a precaution, attendees seated in the zone have been advised to monitor their health closely and seek medical attention if feeling unwell or experiencing any flu-like symptoms.

 

In accordance with our response protocol, the church has arranged for deep cleaning of the affected premises in addition to our routine cleaning of common surfaces and spaces. The Church continues to be open after the cleaning is done.

SES - Saturday, 11 September 2021       &

Staff of Little Seeds Preschool (SJSM)

 

A member who attended Saturday Evening Service (SES) on Saturday, 11 Sep 2021 and was seated in the blue zone tested positive on Mon, 13 Sep 2021 .

 

A second case we were notified about during this period is a staff of Little Seeds Preschool (SJSM) who was tested positive on Tuesday, 14 Sep 2021.

 

  • Deep cleaning was conducted at the affected premises on Wednesday, 15 Sep 2021, in line with guidelines for environmental cleaning and disinfection in such cases.  Routine cleaning of common spaces continues to ensure the premises are kept safe for our members and visitors at all times.

 

  • As a precaution, attendees seated in the blue zone at SES were advised to monitor their health and seek medical attention if feeling unwell or experiencing any flu-like symptoms.  Likewise, staff of the church and the preschool have been advised on necessary steps according to protocols in place.
