Come celebrate Christmas with us!
24 - 26 December
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me,
because he has anointed me
to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to proclaim liberty to the captives
and recovering of sight to the blind,
to set at liberty those who are oppressed..."
"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God."
Luke 4:18-19

Make a Special Prayer Offering to the Lord this Christmas
At this year's Christmas services, you will have the opportunity to bring a special prayer offering to the Lord.
Onsite: 9am & 10am on 25 Dec, 8.15am on 26 Dec
Prayer slips will be provided and prayer bowls will be set up. We invite you to write down your praises, thanksgivings, or petitions (you are encouraged to birng your own pens/pencils, though these will be provided upon request) and place them in the prayer bowls as you file up to receive Holy Communion. The bowls will be carried to the Communion table; the celebrant will lead the the congregation in presenting these prayer offerings to the Lord.
You need not identify yourself on your prayer slip, unless you wish to contacted by a member of SJSM’s pastoral staff.
Online: 10am on 25 Dec, 11.15am on 26 Dec
Do join in as guided via the Public Chat – don't worry, you will not miss out!
Revelation 5:8; 8:4-5 paints a beautiful picture of the prayers of the saints rising into heaven as sweet incense, which is held in golden bowls. Know that our prayers are precious to the Lord; He hears each one, and He responds in His wisdom and in His good time.
