In light of the COVID-19 situation and pursuant to the relevant order under the COVID-19 (Temporary Measures) Act 2020, the 2020 Annual General Meeting (AGM) of St. John's - St. Margaret's Church will be held by way of ZOOM Webinar on Sunday, 28 June 2020 at 2pm.
We encourage all Electoral Roll members to participate in both the Pre-AGM Forum and the AGM. Click the button below to go straight to registration or scroll down for more information.

Notice is hereby given that the upcoming Annual General Meeting of the members of St. John’s – St. Margaret’s Church will be held by way of ZOOM Webinar on Sunday, 28 June 2020 at 2pm to transact the following draft agenda:
1. Opening prayer
2. Vicar’s opening remarks
3. Confirmation of previous EGM Minutes of 28 July 2019 & Matters Arising
4. Appointment & Election of PCC Office Bearers, Synod Reps, 7 Council Members and Chinese FDC Representative
5. Honorary Treasurer's Report
a. Adoption of Financial Statements for Year ended 31 December 2019
b. Adoption of Budget for Year ended 31 December 2020
c. Appointment of Auditors
6. Resolutions relating to Project Spring-Winter
7. Other reports (Chinese FDC, Hon. Secretary & Synod Rep.)

Please note that under the relevant Order under the COVID-19 (Temporary Measures) Act 2020 the following rules govern the forthcoming AGM of the parish, which will be conducted virtually.
Nominations for the 2020/2021 PCC members and Synod representatives 2020-2023 are open. Please pray earnestly and seriously consider the nomination and election of the following:

Please note that under the arrangements which have been put in place this year, there will not be an opportunity to raise any questions during the AGM held via ZOOM Webinar on 28 June 2020, 2 pm. Instead, members are encouraged to peruse the Church Annual Report, the Financial Statements and Budget, and thereafter send any questions by post (to St.John's-St.Margaret's Church at 30 Dover Avenue, Singapore 139790), or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org, before 12 June, 2359hrs.
The Church will also convene a Pre-AGM Forum on 14 June 2020 at 2pm over Zoom Webinar. The church leadership looks forward to an interactive discussion with members who may have questions. Please be aware that the Chairman of the AGM has decided for the record of proceedings at this forthcoming meeting to be adopted into the record of the AGM, when it is convened on 28 June 2020 at 2pm.
Given that current circumstances prevent a physical AGM (during which questions are typically raised) , the purpose of this Q&A meeting is to allow members to raise any matters of concern that arise from any item on the AGM agenda, and for answers to be provided, ahead of the deadline for the submission of the proxy voting form (on or before 24 June, 2359 hrs). We very much hope that members will join us at the meeting. We look forward to seeing you.

The PCC has prepared answers to questions that we ran out of time to address at the Forum on 14 June. If you would like to request a copy of those answers, please email email@example.com.
A link to download the Annual Report will be sent by email to all ER members.
We have also prepared a Chinese translation of the Chairman’s Report and PSW Report. Please likewise email firstname.lastname@example.org to request a copy of this translation. For Chinese FDC, this will provided to all ER members
A member of the parish may only vote by appointing the Chairman of the AGM (ie. the Vicar) as the member’s proxy to attend, speak and vote at the meeting. This will be done by lodging a Proxy Form through the online form accessible through the button above. In appointing the Chairman of the AGM as a proxy, a member must give specific instructions with regards to voting, or abstentions from voting, in the form of proxy, failing which the appointment may be treated as invalid. A member can only vote at the AGM by submitting a completed Proxy Form not later than 24 June 2020, 2359hrs.
Requests to register for the AGM can be made via the online proxy form. ER members will receive a link by email to download a copy of the Annual Report.
